AVSS2018

On November 27th, 2018, MultiDrone attended the 5th IEEE International Conference on Advanced Video and Signal-based Surveillance (AVSS) through Prof. Ioannis Pitas. The event was hosted by Auckland University of Technology and took place in Auckland, New Zealand.

Prof. Pitas (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece), Project Coordinator of MultiDrone, held a tutorial on Deep learning and multiple drone vision, presenting and discussing different aspects of Drone Imaging, Mapping, Localisation and Target Tracking, as they are tackled in the MultiDrone project. The tutorial was attended by around 40 people.

ACCV2018

On December 2nd, 2018, Prof Pitas represented MultiDrone at the 14th Asian Conference on Computer Vision (ACCV2018) in Perth, Australia. He held a tutorial titled “Multiple Drone Vision for Media Production” focusing on several aspects from the MultiDrone project. The session was attended by around 40 people.
